Not TV, not radio, and definitely not print. Think about it, at the end of the day a real estate sale is more about information than about bricks and mortar, grass and trees. For property information, educated consumers today turn to the Internet first. Here’s a sobering fact for you…
- The National Association of Realtors has found that as of 2008 88% of home buyers research available homes on the Internet, in fact they start their home buying process on the Internet.
- That’s 9 out of 10 people research property for sale or rent on the Internet!
So how is your property being displayed? How comprehensive is your realtor’s Web strategy. The Internet is really about the free flow of information. Does your broker embrace that philosophy? You’d better hope so or you’d better choose another broker.
